For dunno how many donkey years in my life have i not touch English cloze passages and comprehension and i finally did it again this morning.
In order to pass time, i did the questions with the kids and its kinda interesting. The memories of primary school days seems so familar now. Still remember the tips our teacher gave while doing the cloze passage.
"Always read through the passage once, skip through all the blanks while reading and get an overview of what the passage is talking about..blah"
But kids nowadays are so smart. Just give them the worksheets and they are on their own.
Now that work has sorta started, its even harder for frens and love ones to meet up. I appreciate my dearie for taking the pain to wake up so early on my first day of work, just to deliver breakfast and tea right to my doorstep. I know it ain easy, even jus to wake up at 5 plus and travel down east. You're a darling.
